references in the Book

I have always loved taking photographs. Photos preserve a moment in time that is captured to be remembered for as long as the photo is preserved. They are markers in history and leave a trace we were here, who we loved and the activities we enjoyed. My office is filled with photo albums.

Even in this digital age I print photos. I like the tactile feeling of grabbing the album, leafing through the pages, and sharing stories about who was in the photo and what they were doing. A photo can take me right back to that summer road trip to the Grand Canyon and witnessing the mind-blowing rock formations for the first time. If I had my druthers, my book would be filled with photos. That is not the case, so I share these photos as a visual aid to the book. You may recognize some images I wrote about. I hope you enjoy them.
