DEATH IS COSTLY FOR ALL BUT DRIVER

This article was written about a year after my mom passed. I spent a few hours talking to Robert on the phone about my mom and the crash that killed her. I felt he understood what I was going through and I was seen and heard by someone outside of my immediate circle. I so appreciated his compassion for my family’s situation and his passion for safe driving.

At the end of the piece says – A plaque will say: “Kathy Cook — Play. Run. Engage in magical fun. Be present. Be aware. Free yourself to go anywhere.” The message sums up her mom’s brio for life. It also serves as a reminder to drivers everywhere: Be aware.

This poem stands the test of time. Being in the moment is not only a wise and safe choice when driving, but also a way to live life every day. You can read the full article here.
